TERMS & CONDITIONS 

1. Age Requirements

  • Minimum age for services is 16 years (excluding group classes).

2. Health & Safety

  • Members are responsible for informing The Sage of any medical conditions that could affect safe participation, and may be required to obtain medical clearance when appropriate.
  • Services at The Sage are not medical or psychiatric treatment.
  • Staff may refuse participation if safety is a concern.

3. Memberships, Renewals & Payments

  • Memberships renew monthly on the purchase date.
  • Unused services do not roll over.
  • Payment is made by registered credit/debit card.
  • The Sage may adjust prices or terms with 2 months’ notice.

4. Cancellations & Refunds

  • Cancellations must be done in the member’s profile.
  • Refunds for ongoing membership periods are only considered for documented medical reasons.

5. Booking Rules

  • All sessions must be booked through the member profile unless otherwise specified.
  • Bodywork, facials, holistic healing and psychology sessions require 24-hours advance booking; for shorter notice, contact reception to check availability.

6. Late Arrivals, No-Shows & Cancellations

  • There is a 24 hour cancellation policy on all services except group classes. Group classes have a 3 hours cancellation policy.
  • Late arrivals may shorten or forfeit the session.
  • No-shows and late cancellations result in the loss of the booked service.

7. Conduct & Studio Rules

  • Members must maintain a calm and respectful environment.
  • Harassment, unsafe behaviour, or rule violations may result in membership termination.
  • Mats and equipment must be cleaned after use; areas must be left tidy.
  • Any misconduct or violation of Norwegian law will be reported.
  • The Sage is a drug- and alcohol-free environment.
  • Use of alcohol, drugs, or intoxicating substances, is not permitted anywhere on the premises (indoors or outdoors).
  • Violations may result in immediate removal and termination of membership.

8. Guests

  • Clip-cards (not memberships) are transferable.
  • The member must book for the guest and notify reception by email.

9. Personal Property

  • The Sage is not responsible for personal items stored or left on the premises.

10. Liability

  • Members must follow safety instructions.
  • The Sage is responsible for safe facilities and professional conduct in line with Norwegian law.
  • Members participate at their own risk within what is reasonably foreseeable.

11. Service Availability & Schedule Changes

  • Availability of classes, therapists and facilities may vary with schedules, capacity and staff.
  • The Sage may adjust schedules or close temporarily for maintenance, holidays or unforeseen events.
